We have opened up the entrance hallway to create sight-lines from front to back, which now receives more natural light and creating a bright and welcoming reception room. What used to be an under-used ground floor shower room was divided into a utility room and simple toilet. A rear- and side extension with a pitched roof tripled the available space and was transformed into a large, bright kitchen/dining room with space for a sofa to enjoy the view into the garden.
